Church Urban Fund Grant

The Foodbank applied to the Church Urban Fund (CUF) for much needed funding to help with the set up costs such as office equipment, stationery, warehouse shelving, weighing scales, promotional materials, signs, outlet staff identification, etc.

We are very grateful to the CUF for approving a Mustard Seed Grant to meet these costs.

We would like to thank the Avonmouth and Kingsweston Well Being Fund for the grant of £1000 that has enabled us to buy much needed coffee tables, chairs and a coffee machine for our cafe areas at the Foodbank.  The tables look great and also provide a safe surface for our clients to put their hot drinks away from the reach of young children.

Community Plus Donation from Santander Foundation

The Bristol NW Foodbank has received £5000 grant from the Santander Foundation’s Community Plus initiative.  The grant will help the Foodbank strengthen its work with those in crisis and help us extend our work in Henbury, by helping us to employ a part-time administrator.

We are extremely grateful for this donation!

Simply Health donate £3000

Bristol NW Foodbank would like to say a huge thank you to Simply Health Bristol Community Fund for its generous donation of £3000 towards our work.  Part of the money has already gone towards the equipment needed to open a new Foodbank outlet at Emmanuel Chapel in Henbury last month.  The rest of the money will be put towards the ongoing costs of running the Foodbank.
